Group Creation Criteria in VTiger 7

For the ease of the users, VTiger 7 provides four different criteria based on which a group can be created. VTiger 7 makes groups on the following basis

Users: you can add any member to the group using this criterion, it adds all the elected member into a group

Roles: This criterion allows you to add members to a group who share the same role. All the members who share a specified role and summed together in a single group.

Roles and Subordinate:  In this feature, all the members who are related to a certain role and subordinates of that role are collected into one group.

Group: This feature helps to make a collection of different groups, it adds several groups top form a single group.

The story does not end here, the process which VTiger 7 uses to create is a very simple yet effective one. Just follow some simple steps and create a new group to increase the performance of the firm. Following are the steps to create a new group:

1. Click on the menu button (Located on the left size of the screen: App Switch)
2. Choose User management from settings
3. Then select groups
4. Finally, click on Add Group option

Modification in a group

The group created earlier needs some enhancements, so changes in the group are required. VTiger 7 also took this issue in account and introduced a simple method to modify a group. Following are the steps to modify a group:

1. Go to the group in which changes are required and locate the pencil icon (Edit icon)
2. Make the changes in the group as per requirements
3. Finally, save the changes.

Deleting a Group

Once a purpose of a group is fulfilled, you may need to dispose off the group. VTiger 7 offers a simple solution to this. Following are simple steps through which you can remove a group:

1. Go to group and click on the recycle bin icon
2. Make sure to transfer the privileges of that group to another group (existing)
3. Finally, choose the save button to complete the task
